26 Quranic Schools Open in Egypt
According to Misrawi website, Mahmoud Bukhayt, the ministry ‘s deputy, said that a number of Quran memorization offices have also been inaugurated in the governorate.
He added that the new governor of El Wadi El Gedid has urged further development of Quranic schools and centers in the region.
Bukhayt also said the ministry is planning to build 150 Quranic schools in other parts of the country.
Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.
Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.
Quranic activities, including memorization of the Holy Book, are very common in the Arab country.
El Wadi El Gedid Governorate or New Valley Governorate is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is in the southwestern part of the country, in Egypt’s Western Desert (part of the Sahara Desert), between the Nile, northern Sudan, and southeastern Libya.
